I finished Zadie Smith's On Beauty a few days ago and haven't gotten around to writing about it yet. Of course that means I've forgotten all of the reasons why I liked reading it so much.
To refresh my memory I just looked at some of the reader reviews on Amazon. People sure do have a lot of complaints about this book. Perhaps it's because I've been awfully preoccupied, but while I noticed some of the flaws and idiosyncracies other readers mentioned, they certainly didn't bother me.
Anyway, I liked it.
